The Lord sent me on an amazing adventure which is linked right here.
This all really needs to be a book but I am literally still running this race! I wanted to be sure that I clearly marked out the road to salvation and the scriptures that support it.
With God it’s always good to expect the unexpected. So here we go! God’s word says no one is righteous. All of us are sinners.
As it is written: “There is no one righteous, not even one; Romans 3:10
In July of 2023 I got on Craigslist to look for a Christmas tree to use as a writing prop. I found a Christmas tree and when I looked at the photo I said out loud, “That’s my living room!” I recognized it as the living room I grew up in. It was my grandparents home. It was the home my Mom and Uncles grew up in. It was the home my Mom ran to for refuge back when my Dad was an explosive alcoholic. My Mom came with all three of her kids in tow. I was only a baby.
I emailed the lady selling the tree and told her I wanted to buy it and that I had lived there as a little girl. I sent her this picture of me in front of the same fireplace.
For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23
The next day I went to my grandparents old home with my daughter Alissa to pick up the Christmas tree.
God’s word says that while we were still sinners Christ died for us. This is how he showed us his love. Salvation is a gift you cannot earn it.
”But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.“ Romans 5:8
The couple selling the tree had the house up for sale. They had bought the house just before COVID and remodeled it during the pandemic.
We were given a tour of the house and yard. Everything was beautifully updated. It was an incredible experience.
The owners of the house were asked by one of the neighbors if they were planning to have any big parties like Grandma and Grandpa did. But they said they weren’t. They worked remotely while the house was being refurbished.
God’s word says sin has to be paid for and basically someone has to die. Either you are going to pay for your sin with your own life or you can receive the gift of eternal life from Jesus. He loves you! He died for you so you could live! It’s a gift! It’s the best gift ever!
”For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.“ Romans 6:23
God’s word says that if you declare it with your mouth “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead you will be saved! Do you see what the Lord is doing? This wasn’t a coincidence. This was a divine plan from heaven to demonstrate love!
”If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.“
Romans 10:9-10
I love you all so much! My prayer is that you will have a divine revelation from God. I’m praying you realize how very much the Lord loves you. The Lord is moving heaven and earth for you! You are precious and loved! Our family needs to be together! Together is better!
There has been so much division. But it doesn’t have to be that way in the future. God’s word says everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved!
”for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”“ Romans 10:13
