Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7

Observation

This verse shows me that I am supposed to give my worries to God. The Lord of all creation cares about me. 

Application

I need to remember that God can handle my problems. My job is to let go and trust God.

Prayer

Dear God,

Thank you for reminding me that you will be handling my problems today. Why do I forget that? You always help me.

You are the God of all creation, nothing is to difficult for you. You are all powerful, you see everything and there is no plan that can prevail against you! You are the God who saves. Thank  you for Jesus!

Thank you for loving me and taking care of me. I love you SO MUCH!

Yesterday was one of those high pressure days. I kept trying to make sense out of life and difficult situations that make no sense at all. I’ve been having a lot of those lately.

As I was getting out of the car I heard something hit the ground. There at my feet was my keychain.  I have no explanation as to how my keychain detached from my key ring.  Nevertheless, I picked it up and read it.

GOOD MORNING                   This is God.  
I will be HANDLING             ALL YOUR problems today.’

I love the Lord.  He sees me and I know he loves me. Of course He can handle my problems.  God has always handled my problems.  Sometimes I freak out.  I don’t understand His timing. I don’t understand His decisions.  He takes me out of my comfort zone.

This is not the first time God used this keychain to remind me that he’s got this. Yesterday the Lord confirmed what he had already shown me when I wrote the postWhat I Want To Get Out of Telling My Story.
